Tender Notice No. RITES/CC/CP/EPFO/2003

  1. Sealed tenders are invited in Two Packet System by RITES Ltd. (A Govt. of India Enterprise) for and on behalf of Employers Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) for the work mentioned in the table given below:-

    i)

  2. Tender documents can be purchased from the office of Dy. General Manager (CC), RITES Bhawan, 3rd Floor, Left Wing, Plot-1, Sector-29, Gurgaon – 122 001, on any working day from 29.10.2003 to 14.11.2003 between 10.00 AM and 4.00 PM on payment of a non-refundable amount of Rs. 25000/- in the form of Demand Draft/Pay Order of any Scheduled bank payable at Gurgaon in favour of RITES Ltd. Tender documents will not be sent by post/courier.
  3. Tender documents duly completed in all respects shall be received up to 1100 AM till 17.11.2003 in the office of Dy. General Manager (CC), RITES Bhawan, 3Rd Floor, Left Wing, Plot-1, Sector-29, Gurgaon – 122 001. Technical bids shall be opened at 11.30 AM on the same day in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. Price bid of those bidders whose technical bids are found acceptable shall be opened at a date to be intimated separately. Bids received after the stipulated date and time would be summarily rejected.

  1. Bids shall be treated as non-responsive and summarily rejected if the bidder does not submit all the supporting documents or does not furnish the relevant details as per the prescribed format/requirement. No correspondence shall be made by RITES for any kind of deficiency in the bids submitted by the bidders after opening of the bids. Bidders may take note of this.

  1. In case the date of opening of the bid as mentioned above is declared to be a holiday, the bids will be received and opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.

  1. The qualifying criteria for the work are as under: -

i) Minimum Annual Financial Turnover during any one of the last five financial years (Rs. in crores)
     - Rs 43.75 Crores.

ii) Value of Similar work executed satisfactorily during last five financial years
     - One work of Rs 23.25 Crores Or Two Works each of value Rs 15.50 Crores.

iii) Liquid Assets and Credit facility: - Rs 7.30 Crores.

iv) Bid capacity: - Minimum Rs 31.00 Crores.

v) The applicant firm shall be a profit (net) making firm and shall not have made losses in any of the
    last 2 financial years or any 3 out of last 5 financial years.

vi) Other Criteria as stipulated in tender documents.

  1. Similar works in the present case shall be multi-storeyed building (like Office complex, Five star hotels, Commercial building with special finishes, Large corporate houses, fully wired IT enabled buildings, IT Park, Data Center etc.) (G+3) with basement of 4500 sqm. Group Housings/ Residential buildings and industrial sheds shall not be considered as similar work.

  1. Joint Ventures are not acceptable.

  1. Pre bid meeting will be held at 1100 hrs on 7.11.2003 in RITES office as mentioned at SN 2 above.

  1. Purchase preference shall be considered as per prevailing Govt. rules.

  1. RITES reserves the right to accept or reject any tender or all the tenders and accept the whole or any part of the tender or split up the work between more than one tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.
